These terms and conditions are an agreement between you as the user and Everybody Edits. By accepting the terms and conditions you are also agreeing to follow all rules of the Everybody Edits website. Which above all means being nice and respectful to other users.
You may not use any of Everybody Edits material, such as avatars, blocks, images, logos, icons, audio files etc. for commercial purposes outside of the Everybody Edits website. This means that you may not copy, distribute, sell, publish, send or otherwise recirculate Everybody Edits material to a third party without the written consent of Everybody Edits. You may not change, revise or replace any of the material found in the game or website, either in its entirety or parts thereof.
This includes making and/or distributing alternative clients that connect to the Everybody Edits server or an alternative server. One exception to this rule are clients that help players create better gaming experiences for other players, also known as “bots”. These should be celebrated. However, any “bot” that the Everybody Edits team find abusive in any way or find is disruptive to the game experiences is not allowed. But if your are making a blog, a forum or a youtube video, which is non-commercial, we certainly don’t mind fair use of our assets.
In this agreement you give Everybody Edits the right, without special compensation, to publish the Worlds, Games and Material you make for an unlimited time throughout the world on the internet, on TV or any other medium. Thus you give Everybody Edits the right to use, copy, present, reproduce, display, edit, integrate, license as well as distribute the Games and Material which you have created, for both commercial and noncommercial use.
Everybody Edits has the right to cancel your membership and close your account if you violate this agreement or the rules of Everybody Edits or if you have not used your account for four months.
In order to establish a welcoming environment for all of our players, there are rules and guidelines in place that everyone must follow.
General Community Guidelines:
Be nice to others and respect eachother.
Do your best to keep a nice atmosphere in the game.
Keep the chat safe for younger players.
Do not spam or harass others.
Report rule breakers using the /reportabuse command.
In addition to above, do not create/send content that:
contains references to the use of drugs, sexual acts or violence.
contains swearing at others or bypasses the word filter.
discriminates other people based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, age, sexuality, or anything else.
incites harm against people or encourages others to do so.
contains others' personal or confidential information.
impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner.
(the rules above apply to all content you submit to EE including chats, sign text and even blocks)
And also do not:
attempt to hack or interfere with the normal use of EE using external software ("bots").
bypass bans by using more than one account.
abuse the reporting system.
DO report people who break the rules stated above.
DO explain the situation as detailed as you can.
DO NOT report things that are not against the rules.
DO NOT report trolling as it is not against the rules.
DO NOT report world owners for not giving you edit.
When you purchase Gems, you get the ability to purchase content, features, virtual items etc. in the game. Gems are provided as soon as the payment is completed and Everybody Edits has been notified by our payment provider(s). All prices on Everybody Edits include VAT and are subject to change without notice.
Everybody Edits uses a third party payment provider and therefore we do not store any credit card or bank account information. The payment provider fully lives up to international industry security standards. All credit card and bank account information is stored by the payment provider solely in encrypted form in a high security data-centre. All collection and storage of sensitive information by the payment provider conforms to the requirements of the Data Protection Act and fully obliges to all international security standards.
If you purchase services (including buying Gems or virtual goods) you lose any refund rights you may normally be entitled to when the services are made available to you. We may do exceptions at our sole discretion. If you need to dispute a purchase you can contact Everybody Edits.
If you are under 18 years of age or do not pay your own bills, you must get permission from your parents, the person who pays your bills, the cardholder or the person paying, before making any Everybody Edits purchases with that card. If you make any unauthorized payment on Everybody Edits - regardless of payment method - your account will be permanently deleted and your IP may get blocked! Also, if you do not abide by the Everybody Edits Terms and Conditions, your account may be terminated and you will lose any Gems and virtual goods your profile may have.
These Terms and Conditions will be governed and interpreted according to the laws of the United Kingdom. You specifically consent to personal jurisdiction in the United Kingdom in connection with any dispute between you and Everybody Edits arising out of these Terms and Conditions or pertaining to the subject matter hereof. The parties to these Terms and Conditions each agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute between the parties arising out of these Terms and Conditions or pertaining to the subject matter thereof will be in the courts in the United Kingdom.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you consent the storage of cookies in the use of in-game features which are not used for advertising and are not passed onto third parties.
We reserve the right to change this agreement at any time with or without notice, with immediate and/or retroactive effect.
Any suggestions about graphic or gamedesign you tell us are assumed to be offered for free unless otherwise agreed before the suggestion was made. If you have any ideas, feel free to contact us.
